Hello all, I hope you are having a wonderful day. Unfortunately I have had a rough week. It involves a kidney stone and lets just say it is not pretty. But that is not what I want to talk about today. I wanted to say a few words about procrastinating because it is one of the things a can do well.
I am not really sure why I procrastinate at times. I have heard that people who procrastinate are lazy. I don't necessarily agree. I don't consider myself a lazy person. Another theory is that procrastination is a way of dealing with stress involved by doing a certain task. Well I can certainly understand that idea. Who wants to do something that is stressful or unpleasent.
So why am I rambling on about such a boring subject. The reason is I often find myself putting off enjoyable task such as making a card I know I am going to need for a upcoming occasion. I certainly don't procrastinate being in my studio, I do that as ofter as possible. But I can find a million other things I want to play with then making that card that I don't need for another month. One thing I know is that I seem to do my best work when I am under a deadline. Go figure.
Well today I want to say that I did not procrastinate making my Mother's Day cards. I have them both ready to go and those are the project I have to show you today. When I started to work with the Springtime Vintage DSP from the Occasions mini catalog it just screamed Mom. So the first things I make were the cards for my Mom and MIL. So now all I have to figure out is which one to give to which Mom. Oh, and make a birthday card for upline's son. His birthday was this week.

This card and the one below were both a complete case. Both were found on Stampin Connection. For those of you who don't know, Stampin Connection is an exclude site for Stampin Up demonstrators. This card was created by Theresa Romani. I used the following supplies:
- Stamp Sets: Build a Blossom, Something to Celebrate

- Ink: Rose Red
- DSP: Springtime Vintage
- Punches: Blossom Petals, Eyelet Border

This card was cased from the very talented Becky Roberts. The supplied used are:
